Trout fishing

Wind direction can be crucial for a successful fishing trip. If you have a breeze from the east or southeast, you have good chances of a good catch. Northern winds are not favorable. There are big differences from lake to lake when it comes to whether the trout bites on worms or lures. This also varies within the same lake you’re fishing in, so you should have both.

I set the line in the evening and pull it in the next morning. I prefer night fishing with Autosett Small, as it catches the most fish. If there are plenty of fish and good biting conditions, you can use Autosett Small in the morning, midday, and evening. There are so many fish and so many lakes in Norway that we have at least one lake for every fisherman.

Most lakes are fished too little, which leads to many small fish. If there are too few fish, we must of course regulate fishing in both freshwater and saltwater.
