This privacy policy applies to all business processes in AUTOSETT AS, hereinafter referred to as the Controller.

The policy provides information about data processing carried out by the Controller and determines the purpose and means of the processing as well as data processing we carry out on behalf of our customers based on their instructions.

Processing of personal data is necessary for us to be able to fulfil our contractual obligations and serve you as a customer. Personal data may also be used for the following purposes: Sales, contact with customer service, marketing, information, accounting.

When marketing by e-mail/sms, explicit consent is obtained in advance.

By providing us with your personal information, you accept the practices and terms described in this privacy policy.

If you have objections with regard to our processing of personal data, you also have the opportunity to complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority.

Information Collected

Information may be recorded and stored when you register on www.autosett.no, when you are in contact with sales and support either via email, chat or when you use our services.

Where do we store information about you - and where do we share information about you with others?

Our e-commerce platform is provided by Mystore.no AS and data is stored in their cloud services at Amazon Cloud Services (AWS)'s data center in Ireland.

Subcontractors

The data controller also uses services provided by 3rd parties. Here is an overview of subcontractors where information may be stored

Vipps:

If you pay with Vipps in the online store (or our physical store), your phone number will be sent to Vipps for further identification.

Klarna:

If you pay with Klarna in the online store, personal information such as email, name, address, social security number will be shared with Klarna for credit.

Gsuite by Google:

Gsuite by Google is used, among other things, for handling email, documents (G Disk). Information is stored in these systems and email correspondence or documents may be stored with Gsuite by Google.

Mailchimp:

Mailchimp is used for email marketing or sending newsletters. Name and email can be shared with Mailchimp.

Google Analytics:

Google Analytics is used for traffic analysis. IP addresses and visitor patterns are stored.

Logistra:

Logistra is our EDI solution provider. When you shop in our online store, information such as name, phone number and address will be shared with Logistra for printing waybills and transport labels.

Postnord:

We send packages with Postnord and thus share information related to shipping such as name, phone number and address.

Crall.io:

Crall is our system for handling chat correspondence, as well as features such as abandoned carts, birthday greetings and visitor patterns. Crall.io is also used to send out order confirmations and emails, name and address and information related to the order confirmation are thus shared with them. Technology from Crall.io is also used to generate product recommendations. Product recommendations are based on visitor patterns and order history which are stored for up to a year.

Communication through email and SMS

As a customer, you will receive emails and SMS regarding your customer relationship. For example, we will send you emails/sms related to orders you have placed, SMS with tracking number, forgotten password, information about your customer account, etc. This is defined as legitimate interest and consent will not be requested.

We also use email for marketing and communication. As a customer of the Controller, you will periodically receive newsletters, provided that you have given active consent to this. It is possible to unsubscribe from the newsletter by clicking on the unsubscribe link in the emails.

Access and correction

You have the right to access the information registered about you. Access can also be obtained by sending an inquiry to post@autosett.no If the registered information is incorrect or incomplete, you can demand that the information be corrected in accordance with the Personal Data Act.

Storage and deletion

Information that is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was created is deleted from our systems.

Information about the use of cookies.

A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer.

We use cookies, among other things, to remember your login, password in encrypted form, to improve the user experience and as part of our marketing to new customers.

When you visit our services, we set both temporary and permanent cookies. A temporary cookie is often deleted automatically when you close your browser, while permanent cookies can remain on your computer for up to a year.
